What should I do?
In the vicinity of the A’Noguera Hostel there are countless touring, hiking and cycling routes.
The town of Jaca is a must-see with its cathedral, citadel and diocesan museum, shopping streets and numerous festivals, but don’t forget other towns such as Canfranc and its splendid railway station, the Güixas caves in Villanua, Santa Cruz de la Serós and its Romanesque church, the Monastery of San Juan de la Peña, Borau, Santa María de Iguácel, etc.
The A’Noguera Hostel is located on the French Way through Aragon or Aragonese Way, which links the Somport Pass on the Spanish-French border with the Navarran town of Puente la Reina, where it joins the route from Roncesvalles. The French Way through Aragon owes its origin to the Way of Arles (Via Tolosana), one of the four most important medieval pilgrimage routes.
A multitude of hiking trails are signposted in the vicinity of the hostel, whether PR or GR, as well as mountain bike routes.
Where are we?
We are in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees. The guest house A ‘Noguera is located in the valley of the Aragon river in Castiello de Jaca. A quiet place full of charm and mysticism through its connection to the Way of St. James and the Route of the Holy Grail. We are 7 km (4,4 miles from Jaca and 25 km (15,5 miles) from the French border.
The guest house is located outside the historic village center and can be reached via the Camino de Santiago, via a stony track more or less 700 (700 yd) from the village. Easy parking outside the estate for cars, easy enclosed parking for motorcycles or bikes.
